Supporting self-awareness, emotional attunement, and growth in identity, relationships, and life direction.

Many people I work with are functioning well on the surface, yet underneath feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or out of step with themselves of their lives.

They may be navigating burnout, relationship and attachment patterns, identity questions, life transitions, or a growing sense that something is no longer working in the way it once did.

Sometimes people come to therapy knowing exactly what they want support with. Other times, there is simply a sense that they cannot keep operating in the same way.

What I help with

I work with individuals navigating:

  • Neurodiversity (including ADHD, autism, giftedness, dyslexia)

  • Burnout and workplace stress

  • Life transitions and identity exploration

  • Women’s mental health, including perinatal and postnatal support

  • Anxiety and mood difficulties

  • Relationship and attachment patterns

I also work with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ clients, and many people I see are engaged in creative or reflective work.

How I work

My approach is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and parts-informed drawing on evidence-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and nervous system informed work.

I also work with the mind–body connection and nervous system regulation, recognising that emotional experiences are not only understood cognitively, but are also held and processed within the body over time. Therapy may include mindfulness-informed and body-based approaches that support greater awareness of emotional needs, internal signals, and patterns of regulation and protection.

Together, we explore the patterns, emotional responses, protective strategies, and different parts of the self that have developed — often for understandable reasons — but may now feel limiting, exhausting, or disconnected from the life you want to live.

Rather than trying to “fix” these responses, therapy focuses on building understanding, self-awareness, emotional flexibility, and a more secure internal foundation.

My work is also informed by ongoing study in systemic and relational approaches, including constellation-informed thinking, which can support a broader understanding of family, relationship, and intergenerational patterns.

This work supports:

  • greater clarity and self-trust

  • flexibility in relationships

  • the capacity to move toward what matters, even in the presence of fear, uncertainty, or doubt

Experience

I have experience working across private practice, clinical research, non-government organisations, and outpatient hospital settings.

I have supported clients across a range of concerns including anxiety, mood difficulties, trauma, grief, adjustment, and life transitions, as well as body image and eating-related concerns.
